JYSKE BANK BOXEN
The Jyske Bank Boxen is an indoor arena hosting large sports events such as ice hockey, basketball, handball and swimming, as well as concerts with international artists. Jyske Bank Boxen is part of the Messecenter Herning exhibition center and was recently extended with a newly built and award winning visitor’s foyer designed by CUBO Architects. The facade of the foyer is made of large-scale pneumatic triangles in a semi-transparent material. Each triangle is individually lit by linear RGB light sources from Martin Professional.
A DYNAMIC FACADE
On request of the MCH group Kollision was asked to re-design the lighting design and expression of the facade into a more varied and dynamic solution. This was made by integrating Kollision's MAP player into the Martin Professional solution. Through a series of inspirational workshops together with the client, making use of the real-time controls and 3D interface of the MAP player, a range of lighting designs and new interactive features were defined, programmed and later integrated in the building.
OUR ROLE
Kollision designed and programmed new building specific functionalities. The installation was made in collaboration with Martin Professional.
