AUDI PARIS 2012
Kollision collaborated with KMS BLACKSPACE and SCHMIDHUBER to create an interactive Audi exhibition at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, which attracted more than 1.3 million visitors from the 29th of September to the 14th of October 2012. At the show Audi premiered their new Audi S3 at their exhibition space, consisting of a 'Vorsprung durch Technik' tunnel in which visitors could experience the key Audi concepts; e-tron, connect, and ultra.
CONNECT & E-TRON
The connect area featured a tracked LED floor in interplay with a responsive wall displaying Audi connect themes. When walking on the floor visitors connected to one another and to the car presented in the middle. On the walls four hotspots activated strands of LEDs ending in short messages explaining about the possibilities inherent in the Connect concept. In the e-tron area visitors could touch three pulsing LED indicators on the wall, scanning their hand and shooting out a line of light, which was then picked up by a 2 x 3.5 x 0.6 m 3D display. The 3D display reacted by illustrating a battery, powered by the visitors and releasing the energy back to the scanner when fully charged.
