PARALLELS

In 2018, Martin Professional designed a new showroom to showcase their products to international customers in London, UK. Together with Martin Professional Kollision designed the center-piece Parallels - a dynamic media sculpture based on HARMAN products in interplay with Kollision’s MAP software. The sculpture is placed in the center of a staircase, connecting two levels in the HQ through dynamic content running on parallel, vertical lines that create a bright focal point.

MAP provides easy and customisable content scheduling using calendar and playlists and a 3D preview of scheduled content and real-time monitoring of currently displayed content. MAP also allows for interactive content, e.g. letting visitors interact with the media sculpture.

Kollision handled mapping of the light sources and integrated them into our MAP software. In close collaboration with Martin Professional we designed the sculpture and created the dynamic lighting design.
